How to Play

Welcome to Timberman--Pure HTML Edition! In this game, you play as a lumberjack trying to chop down a tree while avoiding branches. Use the Left and Right buttons to chop on the respective sides of the tree. If you chop on the side with a branch, it's game over! Play the audio above to track your time and to enjoy some background music while you chop.

How this was Made

This game was created using just HTML. That's right, no JavaScript or CSS! The game logic is driven by popovers and buttons, with each game state represented by a different popover. The images are GIFs that play once to show the chopping action and the result of the player's choice. Each new popover displays over the previous one, creating a seamless game experience.
